Bristol songwriter Tony Almond brings some personal and political reflections, invitations to look beyond the obvious and to think more deeply about ourselves and the world around us. An essentially English folk/rock sound that bridges many styles and influences, in songs that are playful, striking and pertinent.

The Explorer was recorded in Bristol with friend and producer, Chris Powell, and supported by a few other fine local musicians adding voices, strings, woodwind, bass, percussion, moog, vibes, hurdy-gurdy, and musical saw.
